One World-One Heart

Feb 5th: Because the response was so great, I decided to add another book to my giveaway. I just had time to finish it this morning.

What a great idea, plus a way to get out there and meet people. Thank you to Lisa for setting this up. I am new to the world of blogging; actually I started to write in my blog because of One World One Heart. You see, I made some comments on other blogs and put in the address of my blog which had nothing in it...(not a great idea she thought)! At the same time I decided to make a book out of leftover polymer clay experiments and give it away. This book is 3x4 inches assembled with unlined drawing paper and will make a great sketch book for ideas or else it can be an attitude, gratitude or platitude journal. All you have to do is leave a comment; the giveaway ends on Feb. 12 when I will randomly select a winner. This is open to everybody; just make sure I can contact you. Learn and live

I went to work and made my covers with some "experiments" in my box. They turned out fine. Got the paper signatures made and put everything together to see the final appearance and discovered that the covers were not the same thickness. I wanted to make sure the front cover which was made out of cut up clay sheets would be solid enough:in other words, it would not be flexible. That cover is thick. Now I have two books to make, one with thicker covers and the other with thinner ones. If you look at the shadows cast by the covers you will see this.

Not to worry, I have a good idea for the second book. More play for moi!

TIP: it is not a good idea to drink tea while painting with watercolours!
