Oh my carrots....

It snowed all day yesterday. A little early for my tastes but hey... may as well go with the flow. The only thing, my carrots are still in my garden under a foot of snow. I hope they are not frozen in there... I took a picture on my daily walk this morning, as I suspected the scenery would be out of this world....it was.

Il a neigé toute la journée hier. Un peu trop tôt pour mes goûts ... Mes carottes sont encore dans le jardin; sont peut-être gelées sous un pied de neige...j'espère que non. J'ai pris des photos pendant ma marche ce matin puisque je me doutais que le paysage serait à couper le souffle...j'avais raison.




I haven't started working since my return; actually I should be cleaning big time but I don't feel like it so I will live with the mess for a while longer.
There are a few projects waiting on the table. Here they are:

Depuis mon retour je n'ai pas encore mis la main à la pâte. Je devrais faire le ménage de mon atelier mais, il saura attendre. Il y a quelques projets sur ma table de travail; les voici:



Two books to be completed for my granddaughter and her friend: they made the signatures and poked the holes. I will make some covers and put them together.
A block of marble looking clay which I might shape and bake. (Shape and bake ha ha.)
A clay "pencil": clay shaped like a pencil which I want to carve. I have been carving some clay erasers and wax crayons to practice. More about this later though.
Little pieces that I will turn into a bracelet or two. I will work on this for starters.
Deux livres à completer pour ma petite fille et son amie: elles ont assemblé les feuillets et percé les trous.
Un bloc de pâte faux marbre: je vais lui donner une forme et le faire cuire.
Un crayon fait de pâte poly cuit: je veux le sculpter. J'ai pratiqué avec des crayons de cire et avec des effaces qui ressemblent à des crayons. J'en reparle plus tard.
Le projet "tomates" ...j'attends l'inspiration.
Des petits morceaux de pâte cuite qui vont devenir un ou deux bracelets. Je commence par ce projet
NB J'avais tout complété mon entrée (anglais et français), j'ai demandé une vérification au correcteur (il fait l'anglais seulement) et il a tout effacé ce que j'avais écrit en français.... grrrrr J'ai recommencé; un bel exercice de patience pour moi!
