Unfinished business

As I was taking the last pictures of the pyramids, I saw a metal insert and had an idea. The story goes like this:
About two years ago I saw these little metal pieces at the local dollar store. I bought a few of them because I thought the textures would be interesting. You guessed it, I am always looking for textures!

I started making textures with my new shapes. They were ok but nothing to holler about. However, as I was pushing the clay through the shapes I was taken aback by the results of the clay through the shapes. What an idea for a pendant. So I then started experimenting and shared my idea with my friends at the Morrisburg Polymer Clay Gathering. Some of them showed me their own happy results.

I then tried other things with the pendants such as clay blends, even textures. I then got bored with the idea because too easy I guess. Set everything aside.

Always needing to peer amid the goodies they have at the local store. One of those (a set for making keychains) is a great source for colored cord...so many connections, so to speak. Love those Nested Pyramids, Vio. The cord...the pyramids...the beautiful embellishments...Ooh, la la
